Fratelli Alessandria Dolcetto d'Alba DOC

Fratelli Alessandria Dolcetto d'Alba DOC is a classic, easy-drinking red wine from Verduno made from Dolcetto grapes. The vineyards sit at 250 to 370 metres on calcareous and silty soils, with vines averaging about 40 years trained Guyot. Hand-harvested in the second half of September, it ferments and macerates for 6 to 8 days in stainless steel at 25 to 27 C, then ages for 5 to 7 months in steel or cement and at least 1 to 2 months in bottle. It expresses balanced fruity aromas with a round, harmonious body. Production of this label began in 1974. Ideal with all parts of a meal.
