Fratelli Alessandria Dolcetto d'Alba DOC

Fratelli Alessandria Dolcetto d'Alba DOC is a red wine from Verduno made from Dolcetto grapes grown at 250 to 370 metres altitude. The vines average about 40 years and are trained Guyot on calcareous and silty soils. Hand-harvested in the second half of September, the wine ferments and macerates for 6 to 8 days in stainless steel at 25 to 27 C, then ages for 5 to 7 months in steel or cement and at least 1 to 2 months in bottle. It shows the fruity aromas typical of Dolcetto with a round, balanced body. Suitable with every course of a meal.
