Fratelli Alessandria Rossoluna Langhe Rosso DOC

Fratelli Alessandria Rossoluna Langhe Rosso DOC is a red wine from Verduno, made from a blend of three native Piedmont grape varieties. The Campasso and Neirane vineyards lie between 250 and 400 metres on clay-limestone soils, with vines of about 20 years. Harvest takes place at the end of October. Fermentation and maceration occur at a controlled temperature of 29-31 C for 10-12 days. The wine matures for 12-14 months in 500-litre French oak tonneaux, followed by 2-3 months in steel and at least 2-3 months in bottle. It is a structured, versatile Piedmont red, also suitable after adequate bottle ageing.
