Freeland Spirits – Rye Whiskey Batch 2 (75cl)

Freeland Spirits Rye Whiskey is an Oregon rye in a 75cl bottle, from the distillery founded by Jill Kuehler. Master Distiller Molly Troupe worked with Camas Country Mill to choose heritage and ancient grain varieties, which are stone-milled to keep their flavour. This is Batch 2, distilled at 100 proof and bottled in bond. On the nose there are pistachio, brown sugar, butterscotch, fresh red cherry and bananas foster. The palate brings tobacco, nuts, caramel, spice, cedar bark and leather, followed by a soft finish with lingering cherry and root beer.
