Freisa Langhe DOC - Cavallotto

Freisa Langhe DOC from Cavallotto is a red wine with a bright ruby colour and an immediate aromatic profile. Red fruits such as cherry and raspberry combine with light floral nuances and a spicy accent that does not dominate. On the palate it is lively and brisk, with good acidity balancing a slender structure. Mature tannins give support and movement, while a pleasant savouriness lengthens the finish without heaviness. A slight bitter note adds character. It suits traditional dishes such as cured meats, ragù pasta and grilled meats, and also medium-aged cheeses, mushrooms, stuffed pasta and rustic preparations. Serve cool, around 16-18 C, and let it breathe briefly.
