Frescobaldi Grappa Brunello Castelgiocondo is a grappa distilled from selected pomace of Brunello di Montalcino in Tuscany. It expresses Sangiovese grosso, with intense and enveloping aromas. Careful ageing preserves the aromatic qualities of the raw material, giving an elegant and complex bouquet with mature fruit, delicate spices and light balsamic notes. On the palate it is soft and warm, full-bodied yet refined, with a persistent and pleasant finish. It suits after dinner, with chocolate or dried fruit desserts, or for quiet contemplation.
