Fujimi Blended The 7 Virtues Of The Samurai (70cl)

Fujimi is a blended whisky made from Scotch whiskies matured for at least three years in heavily charred American white oak. The name means immortality in Japanese. It comes from a producer founded by Shuzo Matsui, whose range runs from whisky to sake and shochu. The label is inspired by the seven virtues of the samurai's Bushido code: honesty, courage, compassion, respect, loyalty, integrity and honour. The nose offers apple, dried banana and ripe pear, with darker toasted spice and wood. The palate is soft and sweet. The finish is balanced, with custard, ginger and cinnamon.
