Fuyu is a small-batch blended Japanese whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Its name is the Japanese word for winter.
It combines malt and grain whisky from selected distilleries on the island of Honshu, matured in American white oak. No age statement is given.
The nose is floral and honeyed with cooked fruit. The palate is gentle, with caramel, light oak and orchard fruit and a breath of smoke at the edges, and the finish is soft and clean.
