G'Vine Floraison is a French gin from the Cognac area, made by Maison Villevert. Unlike most gins, its base spirit comes from grapes, mainly Ugni Blanc with a little Chardonnay, rather than grain.
Nine herbs and spices are used, including green vine flowers. Floraison is the French word for the flowering of the vine, which gives the gin its name. Juniper, fresh herb and spice distillates are blended with the vine-flower distillate and distilled together. It is bottled at 40%.
The gin is elegant and light, with a green, floral note.
