G4 Clasico Blanco Tequila (75cl, 40%)

G4 Clasico Blanco is an unaged blanco tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave at the El Pandillo distillery in Jesus Maria, in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle and is verified additive-free. The blend is 90% of the distillery's classic G4 blanco and 10% tequila fermented with the agave fibres left in the tank, an older and more rustic method. The agave is estate-grown, roasted for 22 hours, double distilled in copper pot stills and diluted with a half-and-half mix of rainwater and spring water. The label replicates G4's original 2012 design, and this is a limited edition. The nose brings roasted agave, citrus rind and crushed minerals. On the palate come green pepper, herbal spice, lime peel and brined olive over a cooked-agave core. The finish is long, peppery and dry, with a richer mouthfeel.
