G4 Tequila Blanco de Madera (75cl, 45%)

G4 Blanco de Madera is an additive-free blanco tequila made by Felipe Camarena at Destilería El Pandillo (NOM 1579) in Jalisco, Mexico. Camarena's approach to tequila puts the focus on the agave, where it is grown, how it is harvested and how it is fermented, much as a winemaker thinks about fruit. The Madera name points to the role of wood in that fermentation. It is bottled at 90 proof, which is 45% vol, in a 75cl bottle.
