Gaja Gaia & Rey is a grappa from Piedmont, distilled from fresh Chardonnay pomace. Distillation runs from mid-September to the end of November in discontinuous stills working under vacuum, at temperatures kept below 70°C so the aromas keep their character.
The grappa then rests in steel containers before being bottled and packed in a cylindrical aluminium tube.
It shows intense, fruity aromas typical of the grape. The taste is dry and fresh, yet very delicate.
