Rossj-Bass is a grappa from Gaja, the Piedmont house founded in 1859, in a 50cl bottle.
It is distilled from fresh Chardonnay pomace between mid-September and the end of November. Discontinuous stills working under vacuum keep the temperature below 70°C, so the aromas keep their character. The grappa then rests in steel and is sold in a cylindrical aluminium case.
The nose is enveloping and delicate, with fresh flowers. The palate is soft, elegant and pleasantly aromatic.
