Gaja Rossj-Bass is a white Langhe DOC made entirely from Chardonnay. The grapes come from several vineyards in the Langhe, including Rossj, which Lucia and Angelo Gaja dedicated to their second daughter, Rossana.
The wine is aged for six to seven months in barrique.
The nose is rich and deep, with honey, fruit and citrus. The palate is velvety, warm and enveloping, with balanced freshness and a long finish.
