A Kentucky straight bourbon made under Master Distiller Chip Tate, aged for six years in Kentucky.
It began as an idea for a bourbon finished in two wine barrels, and grew into a finish across six casks: Sonoma Chardonnay, Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon, apple brandy, Oloroso sherry, Muscatel and Tokaji. The aim was to add fruit, spice and richness while keeping the structure of a classic Kentucky bourbon.
It is described as combining wine sweetness, bright orchard fruit and fortified wine character with traditional bourbon warmth.
