Gambit No. 6 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 46% ABV. It is made from corn, rye and malted barley and aged in new charred American oak barrels.
What sets it apart is its maturation across six different barrel types, each chosen to add its own layer, from vanilla and caramel sweetness to spice and deeper oak.
The nose offers vanilla bean, caramel, toasted oak, cinnamon stick and dried pear. On the palate come brown sugar, toffee, baking spice and black pepper, with light leather and cedar. The finish is warm and lingering, with spice, caramelised fruit and gentle oak tannins.
