Garrison Brothers Boot Flask is a straight bourbon from the Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas, bottled at 47% ABV (94 proof). It is the distillery's Small Batch bourbon in a flask-style 375ml bottle designed to fit in a boot or pocket.
The mash bill is corn, wheat and malted barley, and the bourbon is aged for a minimum of around four years in new charred American oak under Texas heat.
The nose has Golden Delicious apple, honey, saddle leather and cinnamon. The palate is sweet and structured, with orange candy, lemon zest, yellow cake and baking spice, and the finish is long, with smoky tobacco, caramel apple and walnut.
