This is the first Bottled in Bond release from Garrison Brothers of Hye, Texas, a straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled in Fall 2019 and matured for six years in new charred American oak, then bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV).
Bottled in Bond means it was distilled in one season, by one distiller, at one distillery, and aged in bonded storage.
The nose brings tobacco, leather, campfire kindling and deep oak. The palate is toasted oak, heavy wood sugars and an earthy depth. The finish is long, warm and oak-driven.
