Garrison Brothers Red, White & Bourbon is a Texas straight bourbon from Hye, Texas, released in small batches as a tribute to U.S. veterans. It is made from locally grown corn, wheat and barley, aged in oak and bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV) in a 75cl bottle. Each bottle is dipped in red, white and blue wax.
The nose has charred oak, vanilla, orange cream, candied fruit, tobacco leaf and baking spices. The palate is full-bodied, with honey, dark fruit, toasted oak, caramel, spiced graham cracker and a cherry-cola sweetness. The finish lingers with brown sugar, maple, oak, cinnamon and a nutty amaretto note.
