Gautier XO is a cognac from the Cognac region of France, aged for at least ten years in oak casks. It has a deep, luminous amber colour.
The nose opens with dried fruit such as walnuts and figs, alongside vanilla and caramel, then moves to sweet spices of cinnamon and nutmeg with delicate floral touches.
The palate is creamy, with caramel sweetness, dark chocolate, plum and raisin, and the spices grow more evident. The finish is long, with toasted cask notes, a hint of wood and a lasting warmth.
