Gekkeikan Suzaku Junmai Ginjo Sake (72cl)

Gekkeikan Suzaku is a Junmai Ginjo sake, and the first Ginjo added to the Gekkeikan range. Its name means guardian of the South and refers to the Vermillion Bird of Japanese mythology. It is made from spring water, yeast, koji and rice, and fermented at a low temperature to bring out a fruity aroma of pear, honeydew and pineapple. The palate is smooth with a creamy body, leading to a light fruit finish. It is best served slightly chilled or at room temperature, and suits grilled white fish, seared scallops, BBQ pork and beef ribs.
