Gemellae Vermentino di Gallura - Cantina Gallura (12.5%)

Gemellae is a Vermentino di Gallura from Cantina Gallura, grown on granitic soils in north-eastern Sardinia. Fermentation in stainless steel preserves aromatic purity, while brief ageing on fine lees adds complexity and softness. Bright straw yellow, it shows intense aromas of white flowers, bitter almond and citrus notes, with a slightly herbaceous finish. Balanced in structure with a persistent finish, it pairs with grilled fish, shellfish, fresh cheeses and light Mediterranean dishes.
