Gentleman's Cut 16 Year Player Exclusive Father & Son Edition is a bourbon made as a tribute to Stephen Curry and his father, Dell Curry. The 16 years mark Stephen's 16 NBA seasons and Dell's 16-season career. Only 1,000 bottles were produced.
It was distilled in August 2008 from a mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley, then aged for 16 years in new charred American oak barrels. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose has dried cherry, caramelised brown sugar, tobacco leaf and spiced oak. The palate offers vanilla, toffee, baking spices, sweet pipe smoke and leather. The finish is long, with sweet char, cherry wood and earthy tobacco.
