Ballantine's 17 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky from George Ballantine & Son, bottled in the 1980s at 43% in a 75cl bottle. George Ballantine opened a wine and spirits shop in Edinburgh in 1827 and moved into whisky blending in 1865. Ballantine's Finest was launched in 1910, and Hiram Walker acquired the business in 1936, along with the Miltonduff and Glenburgie distilleries. The brand is now produced by Pernod Ricard through Chivas Brothers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
