George Remus Repeal Reserve Series IX is the latest edition in the Remus Repeal Reserve collection, made in Indiana. It is a blend of four bourbons aged since 2006 to 2015, and it marks the repeal of Prohibition on 5 December 1933.
The nose is typically described as seasoned oak, subtle tobacco and leather, and sweet ripe cherry. Warm oak leads on the palate, moving to cherry, roasted coffee and hints of smoky spice. The finish opens with lingering oak and allspice, then fades through coffee and cherry to tobacco.
