A Gewürztraminer from Hubert Beck in Alsace, made from the grape whose name means spicy Traminer. It has a classic aroma of elderflower and exotic fruit, with a very charming lightness on the palate. The finish is quite fresh, making the wine suitable with food. It is suggested with blue cheese, Münster cheese, fruit tarts, sorbet or soufflé, or as a welcome drink. Serve at about 8 to 10 degrees; serving it too cold would hide its character and finesse.
