A 2024 Dolcetto d'Alba from Giacomo Fenocchio, showing a lively ruby colour. The nose is frank and direct, with cherry and small red fruits, a light floral accent and an herbaceous touch that gives precision. It is a sincere wine without excess, focused on fruit pleasure and clean aromatics. On the palate it is smooth and well-paced, with medium body, soft tannins and fresh sapidity supporting the sip to a pleasant persistence. Best served slightly cool, around 12-14 °C, and enjoyed young when the fruit is full and fragrant. It pairs well with cured meats, simple pasta sauces, rustic pizza and white meats.
