Giacosa Barbaresco DOCG - La Ganghija

Barbaresco DOCG La Ganghija is produced by Giacosa in Piedmont. It is made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, fermented and matured partly in large wooden casks and partly in barriques. It has an intense, persistent aroma of ripe red fruit, spicy accents and a light touch of vanilla and wood. The palate is solid yet elegant, with well-balanced tannins and freshness, leading to a long, harmonious finish. It pairs well with elaborate red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses, and is a good candidate for ageing.
