Giffard Banane du Brésil is a French banana liqueur made from Brazilian bananas, gently infused and enhanced with a touch of Cognac.
It is sweet and tropical, with a rich banana aroma balanced by buttery, complex nuances. Real banana fruit maceration gives it more depth than purely artificial banana liqueurs, while the Cognac adds oak and spirit warmth.
The nose shows ripe and dried banana, flambéed banana, vanilla, caramel and soft tropical richness. The palate is smooth and velvety, with ripe banana, brown sugar, subtle baking spices and a hint of Cognac. The finish is sweet and lingering, gently fading to subtle spice or oak.
