A red wine from Gigondas, made by Paul Jaboulet Ainé.
It is made from Grenache (80%), with equal parts Syrah and Mourvèdre, from 40-year-old vines yielding a maximum of 35 hl/ha. The grapes are hand-picked and fermented in steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation and 12 months' ageing in wood casks.
The wine has a bright ruby colour, an aromatic nose with jammy nuances, a structured palate that becomes softer and more delicate, and a finish with velvety depth and peppery notes.
