Gin Hayman's Sloe (70cl)

Hayman's Sloe Gin is a British sloe gin from Hayman's Distillery, which has distilled since 1863. It is made from a gin base infused with sloe berries picked at their seasonal peak. The maceration lasts several months, during which the gin absorbs the fruit's juices, giving a deep ruby red colour. The process balances the gin's liveliness with the natural sweetness and slight astringency of the sloe. On the nose there are intense almond and cherry aromas, with a pleasant spicy background of cinnamon and clove. On the palate it is rich and velvety, with balanced sweetness, fruit acidity and classic gin botanicals including juniper and coriander.
