Gin Sul (50cl)

A gin produced in Germany, with a recipe inspired by Portuguese traditions. The water comes from the Lüneburger Heide natural park, and the botanicals include Portuguese lemon, eucalyptus leaves, rosemary and lavender. It is distilled in small quantities in copper stills. It is clear and bright, with citrus and herbal notes and a subtle resinous touch on the nose. On the palate it is soft yet complex, with lemon and pepper, a near-menthol freshness and a lingering aromatic finish.
