This is a ten-year-old single cask single malt from Glann Ar Mor, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025. It was made by the Celtic Whisky Distillerie on the Pleubian peninsula in Brittany, which has been distilling since 1997.
The spirit is unpeated. It was fermented for a long time, distilled in direct-fired pot stills and matured within a few metres of the sea, which shapes its character. The cask was chosen in person for this release.
It is waxy, with ripe apricot, fresh sea air and a fine saltiness of the kind usually associated with Scottish coastal whiskies.
