Glasgow 1770 Triple Distilled Single Malt Scotch Whisky (50cl, 46%)

Glasgow 1770 Triple Distilled is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46% abv in a 50cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and natural in colour. It is made from concerto malted barley and water from Loch Katrine, fermented for over 72 hours and distilled three times in copper pot stills. The third distillation removes heavier compounds, leaving a light, fruity spirit. This is matured in ex-bourbon and virgin American oak casks, which are married together before bottling. The whisky is described as having notes of shortbread, honey and double cream, with a warming woody spice.
