This is a Lowland single malt from The Glasgow Distillery Company, a special release of 303 bottles made for the Danish market. It was distilled on 3 February 2018 and bottled on 25 October 2022 at 52% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky is made from malted barley and water from Loch Katrine, fermented for over 72 hours and triple-distilled in copper pot stills. It matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon cask, then was finished in a small barrique that previously held Tokaji, the sweet wine of the Tokaj region.
It is light and soft, rich in honey, with creamy shortbread, apricot, citrus and spicy oak.
