A 12 year old Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, released by Gleann Mór Spirits in its Rare Find range. It was distilled in 2014 and began its maturation in an ex-bourbon barrel before a finish in a first fill oloroso sherry hogshead. It was bottled in 2026 as a single cask release of 167 bottles.
The strength is 56.6% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose combines leafy sherry, hedgerow berries, sultanas, shortbread, buttery popcorn and bourbon biscuits. The palate is rich, oily and mouth-coating, with chocolate digestives, berries, butterscotch, cinnamon and pepper. The finish is long, with ripe berry fruit and dark chocolate.
