A 25 year old Bowmore single malt from Islay, released by Gleann Mór Spirits in its Rare Find range and selected by Greg Urquhart. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2023 from a sherry hogshead, at a cask strength of 53.1%. The whisky has natural colour, is not chill-filtered, and comes from an outturn of 285 bottles.
The nose offers barbecue smoke, tropical fruits and cola cubes. On the palate there is warm aniseed, ginger sponge and juicy mango, and the finish is long, with nutmeg and dark chocolate.
