Gleann Mór Rare Find Glen Garioch 16 Year Old (70cl, 55.4%)

This is a 16 year old Glen Garioch single malt from the Highlands, released by Gleann Mór Spirits in its Rare Find range at 55.4% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2008 and, after its first maturation, finished in a first-fill Ribera del Duero wine barrique before bottling in 2025. It is the first cask chosen jointly by the whole Rare Find team. The colour is natural, the whisky is non-chill-filtered, and 309 bottles were filled. The nose brings blackcurrant jelly, vanilla fudge, strawberry laces and dark chocolate. The palate is warm and spicy with coffee and Chinese five spice, and the finish stays warm and spicy.
