This is a single cask Laphroaig from Islay, aged 14 years and bottled by Gleann Mór Spirits for its Rare Find range. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026, after finishing in a first fill Oloroso sherry hogshead from Bodegas Barbadillo. Just 217 bottles were filled, at a cask strength of 56.2%, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The nose is medicinal, with iodine, brine, driftwood and camphor. On the palate, peat smoke and sea spray sit alongside dried berries and beach bonfire embers. The finish is long, moving from medicinal smoke into sweet fruit.
