Gleann Mór Rare Find Ledaig 12 Year Old (70cl, 56.5%)

This is a 12-year-old single malt from Ledaig, on the Isle of Mull's Tobermory distillery, bottled by Gleann Mór Spirits in its Rare Find range. It is bottled in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 56.5% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration. The spirit was distilled in 2011 and matured throughout in a 250 litre American oak refill hogshead before bottling in 2024. The outturn was 345 bottles. The nose has waves of peat, pine needles and a touch of aniseed. The palate balances barbecue smoke with orange peel, a little menthol and strawberries, and the finish mixes red berries, peat smoke and spice.
