A 19-year-old Longmorn single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2006 and released by Gleann Mór Spirits in its Rare Find range. After a traditional maturation it was finished for 14 months in an Amarone wine barrique. It is bottled at a cask strength of 60.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration, from 155 bottles.
The nose offers stewed plums and ripe hedgerow berries with buttery shortbread and golden tobacco. The palate is thick and syrupy, with red berries, redcurrants, dark chocolate and lacquered oak. The finish is long, with soft sweet fruit and a lively oakiness.
