Glen Albyn – 25 Year Old 1964 - Signatory Vintage (75cl) is a single malt whisky from Glen Albyn (Highland). Aged 25 years, bottled at 58% ABV, 70cl. Glen Albyn was a Highland distillery founded in Inverness in 1846. After periods of closure and rebuilding—including a fire in 1876—it became a key blending malt under the Distillers Company Limited. Known for a slightly oily, spicy profile, Glen Albyn operated until 1983 when it closed alongside neighbouring Glen Mhor and Millburn. The site was later demolished. Existing casks are rare and mainly available through independent bottlers. Glen Albyn remains one of Scotland's notable “lost distilleries,” valued for its old-style Highland character and scarcity.Glen Albyn was a Highland distillery founded in Inverness in 1846. About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
