Glen Elgin 12 Year Old is a single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery in Speyside, Scotland, matured for twelve years in oak casks and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The nose combines honey, dried fruit and vanilla with malt and a delicate touch of smoke. On the palate it is soft and round, with cooked apple, caramel and light spice.
The finish is warming, with a aftertaste of citrus and toasted almonds.
