Glen Elgin 12 Years is a Speyside single malt, aged for twelve years in oak, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery belongs to Diageo, and most of its spirit goes into blends, notably White Horse, with only a small share bottled as single malt. The nose is sweet and soft, with honey, biscuits and peaches. The palate is pleasant and honeyed, with toffee cream, jam croissant and chestnut honey, and it closes on an intense, balanced, honeyed finish.
