This is an older, discontinued bottling of Glen Garioch 12 Year Old, a Highland single malt at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled in the 1980s, before the distillery was mothballed in 1995. Malt was peated to a specification of 8-10ppm in that period, whereas after reopening in 1997 the distillery used only unpeated malt. That peating accounts for the smoky notes in this whisky.
