Glen Garioch 24 Year Old is a single cask Highland malt, distilled in 1993 and bottled by Hunter Laing in August 2018 at 50% ABV. It marks the 20th anniversary of the Old Malt Cask series.
The whisky was drawn from a refill hogshead, and 334 bottles were filled.
It is typically described with honeyed malt, baked apple and pear and vanilla cream on the nose. The palate is rounded and oily, with toffee, cereal sweetness, orchard fruit and peppery oak, and the finish is medium-long, warming and slightly drying, with malt, soft vanilla and oak spice.
