Glen Garioch – 2008 13 Years Old (70cl, 50%)

This Glen Garioch is a 13 year old single malt from the Highlands, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle by Hunter Laing under its Old Malt Cask label. It was distilled in October 2008 and bottled in February 2022. It is a single cask release from a refill hogshead, with 352 bottles filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers caramel sweets, lemon curd and earthy notes. The palate brings stewed pear, pickled ginger and oak shavings. The finish is long, with lingering sweet oak.
