Glen Garioch – 2014/2025 10 Year Old Small Batch Little Brown Dog (70cl, 56.2%)

This is a 10 year old Glen Garioch bottled by Little Brown Dog as a small batch at 56.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It comes from two sister casks, both first fill bourbon barrels, one of which held only a remainder of about 40 litres. The whisky was distilled on 17 November 2014 and bottled on 17 February 2025, giving 337 bottles. The label shows a photograph taken from Old Meldrum, where the distillery stands, looking towards Bennachie. The nose offers pear tarte, kiwi and baked apple. On the palate come tinned pineapple, honeydew melon and rhubarb crumble, and the finish brings crème anglaise, conference pear and white pepper.
