A 27 year old Glen Garioch bottled by the independent bottler Thompson Bros, run by Phil and Simon Thompson. It was distilled on 13 October 1998 and matured in a first fill sherry butt, and 597 bottles came from the single cask.
The release is described as showing the distillery's robust Highland character. The palate offers buttered sourdough, zesty green apples, sage butter and ricciarelli biscuits, notes that point to a first fill Fino sherry butt.
