This is an 8 year old single malt from Glen Garioch in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, bottled in the 1980s at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The distillery works with small copper pot stills and wooden washbacks.
The nose is bright citrus with dried apricot and nutmeg. The palate has rich toffee, sweet malt and subtle toasted almonds. The finish is long, with dark chocolate and a velvety warmth.
